It achieved a price of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,449.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald McIntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trevine No 1, which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
