This artwork by Donald McIntyre achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. In the Scottish Art auction, the work Boats at Sennen Cove sold for GBP 2,304.00 (€ 2,645.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Donald McIntyre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trevine No 1 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Donald McIntyre erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Scottish Art wurde die Arbeit Boats at Sennen Cove für GBP 2.304,00 (€ 2.645,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald McIntyre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trevine No 1 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.466,28).
