Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chapel and Farm Angelsey by Donald McIntyre was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,257.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald McIntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trevine No 1, which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
