Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mise en plis n. 1 by Domenico Gnoli was sold in the Contemporary Auction auction at Sothebys in Milan in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,184,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Domenico Gnoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black Hair in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 7,026,500.00 (€ 8,524,835.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mise en plis n. 1 von Domenico Gnoli wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Auction bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.184.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Gnoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black Hair im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.026.500,00 (€ 8.524.835,22).
