In January 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist And Saint Catherine Of Siena by Domenico Beccafumi for USD 1,210,000.00 (€ 1,117,060.56). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Old Masters at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00 set by the auction house.
