The price achieved of USD 302,400.00 (€ 269,711.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Domenico Beccafumi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Holy Family in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000.00 (€ 1,538,165.58).
