Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Composition by Dolf Breetvelt. The price achieved of EUR 717.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Dolf Breetvelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Dolf Breetvelt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 717,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dolf Breetvelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.875,00.
