Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'., which included the work Composition by Dolf Breetvelt. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dolf Breetvelt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 6,875.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Dolf Breetvelt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dolf Breetvelt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert wurde.
