The work Karma: Short Pillar by Do-Ho Suh was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,928.02), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Do-Ho Suh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Some/One in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).

Die Arbeit Karma: Short Pillar von Do-Ho Suh wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.928,02) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Do-Ho Suh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Some/One im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
