The work Shell by Dmitri Plavinsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 52,602.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitri Plavinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shell von Dmitri Plavinsky kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 52.602,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38) versteigert wurde.
