Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte au crâne et au chalumeau/ Still life with a skull and a blowtorch sans cadre by Dmitri Plavinsky was sold in the Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections auction at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 63,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitri Plavinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).

Die Arbeit Nature morte au crâne et au chalumeau/ Still life with a skull and a blowtorch sans cadre von Dmitri Plavinsky wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 63.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38) versteigert wurde.
