In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Little Crayfish by Dmitri Plavinsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,543.74), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Dmitri Plavinsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Crayfish von Dmitri Plavinsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.543,74) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38).
