The work Killer Wheels 5.0 by Dirk Skreber was sold in the Ketterer Contemporary auction at Ketterer in Munich in December 2018. The auction ended at the price of EUR 10,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Skreber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 497,600.00 (€ 387,750.33).
Zuschlag beim Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Killer Wheels 5.0 von Dirk Skreber wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Ketterer Contemporary bei Ketterer in München versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Skreber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 497.600,00 (€ 387.750,33).
