This artwork by Ding Fuzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Red Plum Blossom And Calligraphy sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,010.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ding Fuzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Plum Blossoms in September 2019 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 80,238.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Fuzhi erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom And Calligraphy für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.010,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ding Fuzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 80.238,42).
