Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Ding Fuzhi was sold in the The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 auction at POLY in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 1,933.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Fuzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum Blossoms in September 2019 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 80,238.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Ding Fuzhi wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 1.933,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Fuzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum Blossoms im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 80.238,42).
