Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Couplet In Seal Script by Ding Foyan was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,776.42), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Foyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,449.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Seal Script von Ding Foyan wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.776,42) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Foyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.449,74).
