Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paire De Chenets Dompteuse by Diego Giacometti was sold in the Swiss Made UNLOCKED auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2020. The price achieved of CHF 68,750.00 (€ 64,660.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La console 'Hommage à Böcklin' in October this year with an auction result of GBP 5,122,000.00 (€ 5,881,478.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paire De Chenets Dompteuse von Diego Giacometti wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 68.750,00 (€ 64.660,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diego Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La console 'Hommage à Böcklin' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.000,00 (€ 5.881.478,99).
