Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Lampadaire aux boules by Diego Giacometti. It changed hands for a price of EUR 76,096.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diego Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La console 'Hommage à Böcklin' in October this year with an auction result of GBP 5,122,000.00 (€ 5,881,478.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lampadaire aux boules von Diego Giacometti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 76.096,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diego Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La console 'Hommage à Böcklin' im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.122.000,00 (€ 5.881.478,99).
