Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work King, from Game Changing by Derrick Adams was worth USD 15,750.00 (€ 14,855.69) to a buyer in February this year. This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derrick Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 212,892.79).

Die Arbeit King, from Game Changing von Derrick Adams war einem Käufer im Februar diesen Jahres USD 15.750,00 (€ 14.855,69) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derrick Adams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure In The Urban Landscape 31 im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 212.892,79).
