Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Nastassja Kinski Video4 Exposed by Denis Piel for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,884.09). This price was achieved in the auction 80s at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Denis Piel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Cooling off 3", which sold at auction in May 2010 for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,186.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nastassja Kinski Video4 Exposed von Denis Piel für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.884,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 80s bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Denis Piel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Cooling off 3" beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.186,35) versteigert wurde.
