Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work "Bath moustique", 1986 by Denis Piel for SEK 7,000.00 (€ 765.19). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary & Design, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Denis Piel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Cooling off 3" in May 2010 with an auction result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,186.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Bath moustique", 1986 von Denis Piel für SEK 7.000,00 (€ 765,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary & Design, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denis Piel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Cooling off 3" im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.186,35).
