Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Who Hired You?" by Dean Cornwell was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2015. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,669.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dean Cornwell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study for 'The History of Transportation' Mural in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 115,565.64).
