Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by De Scott Evans could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Something New, Try One changed hands for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,652.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by De Scott Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage To A Parrot in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 157,247.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von De Scott Evans konnte im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
