Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Taxidermist by De Scott Evans was sold in the American Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,500.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by De Scott Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage To A Parrot in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 157,247.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Taxidermist von De Scott Evans wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.500,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von De Scott Evans erzielen.
