Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Fuck You Faggot Fucker by David Wojnarowicz. The price achieved of USD 937,500.00 (€ 873,637.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Other works by David Wojnarowicz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2018 the work Earth, Wind, Fire And Water was auctioned for USD 1,515,000.00 (€ 1,337,984.63).

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fuck You Faggot Fucker von David Wojnarowicz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 937.500,00 (€ 873.637,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden.
