Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Such a beautiful day, 2020 by David Spiller. The price achieved of EUR 1,280.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by David Spiller have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Only You (Tom) in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 9,437.00 (€ 10,648.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Such a beautiful day, 2020 von David Spiller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.280,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Spiller auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Only You (Tom) im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.437,00 (€ 10.648,54).
