The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,000.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Schulman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of Wijk bij Duurstede, which sold at auction in March 2002 for EUR 9,987.50.

Die Arbeit Farms in winter von David Schulman wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now,Art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries including Indonesian Art and Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.000,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von David Schulman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view of Wijk bij Duurstede beobachtet, die im März 2002 für EUR 9.987,50 versteigert wurde.
