Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dorp in sneeuw, (België): winter in a village in Belgium by David Schulman was sold in the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Schulman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of Wijk bij Duurstede, which sold at auction in March 2002 for EUR 9,987.50.

Die Arbeit Dorp in sneeuw, (België): winter in a village in Belgium von David Schulman wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von David Schulman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A view of Wijk bij Duurstede beobachtet, die im März 2002 für EUR 9.987,50 versteigert wurde.
