Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures, which included the work A view of a canal in Amsterdam by David Schulman. The price achieved of EUR 3,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Schulman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A view of Wijk bij Duurstede, which sold at auction in March 2002 for EUR 9,987.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A view of a canal in Amsterdam von David Schulman zur Versteigerung kam.
