Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Constructions of Vision by David Rabinowitch was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,035.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Rabinowitch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (floor sculpture) in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 14,187.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Constructions of Vision von David Rabinowitch kam im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.035,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Rabinowitch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (floor sculpture) im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 14.187,75).
