It achieved a price of USD 143,750.00 (€ 120,818.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Louise in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,729,000.00 (€ 1,753,856.04).

Die Arbeit Mother with Polka Dot Dress von David Park kam im November 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 143.750,00 (€ 120.818,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Louise im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.729.000,00 (€ 1.753.856,04).
