Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 35,655.00 (€ 33,630.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Louise in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,729,000.00 (€ 1,753,856.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of Stephen Pepper, 1955 von David Park kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.655,00 (€ 33.630,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Louise im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.729.000,00 (€ 1.753.856,04).
