Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Box, Red Cones, Green Circle, Tower, Large Mound, Small Mound, pastel drawing, signed and inscribed and dated XMAS, '98, together with 3 others all inscribed with hand written notes to the recipient of the cards, Robert Hopper by David Nash was sold in the British Country Life auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,646.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charred Column in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 76,800.00 (€ 114,050.40).

Die Arbeit Red Box, Red Cones, Green Circle, Tower, Large Mound, Small Mound, pastel drawing, signed and inscribed and dated XMAS, '98, together with 3 others all inscribed with hand written notes to the recipient of the cards, Robert Hopper von David Nash wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion British Country Life bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
