The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,088.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Michie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aeroplanes passing by, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,478.23).
