Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life In A Landscape by David McClure was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,849.26). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David McClure - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure in an Interior, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 18,800.00 (€ 29,916.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life In A Landscape von David McClure kam im November 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.849,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von David McClure mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure in an Interior beobachtet, die im November 2001 für GBP 18.800,00 (€ 29.916,72) versteigert wurde.
