Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Ruud Gullit Heading The Ball by David Mach for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,954.98). This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ruud Gullit Heading The Ball von David Mach für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.954,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
