Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Mach could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Archers Hitting The Target changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,477.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Mach konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wechselte die Arbeit Archers Hitting The Target für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.477,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
