Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tulips by David Hockney was auctioned at Christies in New York in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 50,400.00 (€ 50,734.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Hockney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nichols Canyon in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 41,067,500.00 (€ 33,579,313.16).
