In June 2013 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Nature Morte Aux Asperges Et Artichautsdavid-Emil-Joseph De Noter ; Still Life With Asparagus And Artichoke ; Signed And Located Alger Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas by David De Noter. The result of EUR 4,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David De Noter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La lecture in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 70,499.37).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David De Noter erzielen.
