Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Composition Aux Raisins, Melon Et Aux Roses by David De Noter. The price achieved of EUR 1,074.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David De Noter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La lecture in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 70,499.37).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings & Drawings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Aux Raisins, Melon Et Aux Roses von David De Noter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.074,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David De Noter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La lecture im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 70.499,37).
