Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gotham City by David Drebin was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 6,325.00 (€ 5,682.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Drebin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Movie Star, which sold at auction in April 2009 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,269.71).
