Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Me & Me, 2008 by David Drebin for USD 875.00 (€ 781.18). This price was achieved in the auction Daydreaming: Photographs from the Goldstein Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Drebin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Movie Star in April 2009 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,269.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Me & Me, 2008 von David Drebin für USD 875,00 (€ 781,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Daydreaming: Photographs from the Goldstein Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Drebin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Movie Star im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.269,71).
