Admittedly, works by David Cornelisz. De Heem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A tulip, pink roses, a crown imperial lily and other flowers in a glass vase, all on a stone ledge, surrounded by butterflies in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 67,000.00.
