printed by Laura Ashley, depicting Lucian Freud in a tank, originally produced for Bowie's exhibition 'New Afro Pagan Work: 1975-1995' at a London gallery, and is believed to be from an edition of 10-15 full rolls

This wallpaper was used at the Rover Car stand at the Birmingham Motor Show in 1998, where a number of original Minis with different exteriors designed by various celebrities, including Paul Smith and David Bowie were exhibited. The backdrop for the Bowie-designed car was wallpapered with some of this wallpaper. The vendor acquired this roll after the exhibition.
