In the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures auction, the work Seated pigeon, grey and black sold for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,497.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by David Michie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aeroplanes passing by in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,478.23).
