Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Strikes with Thunder from the Warrior Series (Maquette) 21 in. high by Dave McGary was sold in the The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,187.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Dave McGary have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Long Soldier from the Warrior Series in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 35,312.50 (€ 29,925.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Strikes with Thunder from the Warrior Series (Maquette) 21 in. high von Dave McGary wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.355,00 (€ 5.187,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
