A top price for Dave McGary - as previously expected
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Western Art, which included the work Long Soldier from the Warrior Series by Dave McGary. The price achieved of USD 35,312.50 (€ 29,925.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Long Soldier from the Warrior Series is the most expensive artwork by Dave McGary that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Long Soldier from the Warrior Series von Dave McGary zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.312,50 (€ 29.925,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Long Soldier from the Warrior Series das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dave McGary, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
