Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Running Script Calligraphy by Da Chongguang was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The price achieved of HKD 26,290.00 (€ 2,648.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Da Chongguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).

Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script Calligraphy von Da Chongguang wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 26.290,00 (€ 2.648,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Da Chongguang erzielen.
