Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shen Zhou’S Poem In Running Script by Da Chongguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,890.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. Admittedly, works by Da Chongguang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letters in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shen Zhou’S Poem In Running Script von Da Chongguang kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.890,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Da Chongguang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letters im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96).
