Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Da Chongguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 33,637.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Da Chongguang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Letters, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 149,000.00 (€ 110,084.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Da Chongguang kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 33.637,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Da Chongguang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Letters beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 149.000,00 (€ 110.084,96) versteigert wurde.
